Echo Park is home to renowned late-night taco trucks and a growing community of young creatives, artists, and musicians. You’ll notice an eclectic mix of urban grit and trendy restaurants, bars, and boutiques that comprise its nonresidential sections, with an influx of sports fans descending every spring for baseball season at Dodger Stadium. You’ll see densely populated hills packed with duplexes, bungalows, Victorian-style homes, and small lot developments.
Serving every meal of the day, Winsome (@winsome) is a casual neighborhood restaurant with a coffee bar and cozy outdoor patio. Located on the hilly streets between Echo Park and Chinatown, the restaurant is on the ground floor of a building designed by architect William Pereira (he designed LACMA) and the food and atmosphere is equally delicious.
Echo Park is home to the LA Dodgers! Whether you’re a baseball fan or simply enjoy America’s favorite past time with beer and hot dog in hand, the experience of a Dodger’s game is fun and highly spirited with LA pride.
Roasting organic and direct trade coffees and serving up some pretty cool vibes, Shreebs Coffee (@shreebscoffee) is a small grab and go neighborhood shop with plenty of outside seating in Echo Park. Stop in for a drip coffee, cold brew, Kombucha on tap, tea, local pastries and lots of delicious snacks. A great place to start your day or for an afternoon pick me up.
